   The AYH Ranch Hostel is the ONLY LEGAL camping on Vashon Island. Ten acres to camp:
Our rates are listed on the Summer Rates page.  Campers enjoy freebies like: free use of old bikes, free u-fix pancakes, free pickup from Vashon Thriftway grocery store, free wood for the group fire pit.
   No Reservation Required for camping

Vashon Spring Art Show    (First 2 weekends in May)

Island Artists open their various studios offering outdoor art sculptures, watercolor, oils, pottery, ceramics and glass. The Vashon Island AYH Ranch Hostel participates in the art show by displaying art in the Red Barn Gallery.

Fourth of July

Vashon Island has a large fireworks display. Hostellers are transported to the display.

Vashon Strawberry Festival

The 3nd weekend in July, crafts, food booths, parade,
music and street dances.

The Lavender Fest - 2nd weekend in July

Five lavender farms including the Lavender Duck Inn (owned by the Vashon Island AYH Ranch Hostel) invites you to wander amongst the lavender crops, sample lavender treats, listen to music and watch lavender demostrations for cooking and crafting with lavender. Http://www.vashonlavender.com

Vashon Art Tour     (First 2 weekends in December)

Island artists display and sell their unique talents through the Christmas Cabin, Barn Works, and many individual art studios.

Drama Dock:

Great plays with very talented people.  The island has many artist and actors and our plays are top quality.  Look at the Vashon Island for the latest showings.
